Abstract

This study aims to analyze community participation in the development of Kandri Tourism Village. This study uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques through interviews, observations and documentation. This study also reveals that community participation in Kandri Tourism Village development can take forms such as tourism management, tourism product development and tourism promotion. However, challenges faced by community participation include lack of awareness and capacity in managing tourism and developing tourism products. Therefore, efforts are needed to increase community awareness and capacity in tourism management and product development.
