Abstract
This research aims to determine the factors that influence elderly participation in the prime posyandu program in Tanjung Gelam Village, Ogan Ilir Regency. This research uses quantitative methods with a quantitative descriptive research type. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire. The population of this study was the elderly of Tanjung Gelam Village. The sampling technique used in this research was Random Sampling. The data analysis technique in this research uses the percentage of frequency technique. The results of data analysis in this study show that the percentage of the knowledge indicator is 91.14%. The percentage of the family support indicator is 76.56%. Finally, the percentage for the distance indicator is 63.28%. Based on these results, it shows that indicators of knowledge, family support, and distance are factors that influence elderly participation in the prime posyandu program in Tanjung Gelam Village.
