Abstract

This study aims to identify the learning needs of students in the Genlita Literacy Barn, Lorok Pakjo, Palembang City. This study uses a quantitative method with data collection techniques through questionnaires given to 35 respondents. The results of the study show that the learning needs of students are classified as very high (85%) In detail, the most prominent learning needs are in the indicators of general knowledge (85%), religious learning needs (84%), learning needs for new events (83%), learning needs for hobbies & recreation (81%) and learning needs for self-appearance (8%). This study suggests the need to provide facilities that support learning activities, training for volunteers, and structured learning programs to meet the learning needs of students. This research is expected to contribute to increasing the effectiveness of learning programs at the Genlita Literacy Barn.
