Abstract

This research aims to determine the knowledge of inorganic waste management by housewives in Sekip Jaya Village. This research uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique is cluster random sampling with a sample size of 91 respondents. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and observation. The results of the research show that knowledge of inorganic waste management by housewives is through 2 indicators including, 1) knowledge of waste management in the high category with an average of 63%, as evidenced by the knowledge that housewives in Sekip Jaya Village already understand the dangers and impacts produced. and how to manage inorganic waste properly. 2) the waste utilization method is in the medium category with an average of 52%, as evidenced by the fact that some housewives do not have awareness of the management and use of inorganic waste. Overall, the knowledge of inorganic waste management obtained by housewives is in the medium category at 52%.
