Abstract

Argoyuwono Village, Ampelgading Sub-district, Malang Regency, is one of the villages often affected by the eruption of Mount Semeru, making the role of village facilitators very important in disaster mitigation. Facilitators have persuasive methods to ensure that residents always pay attention to safety and are ready to face disasters at any time. This study aims to determine the facilitator model in realizing a disaster-responsive village in Argoyuwono Village. The research used a quantitative approach with a descriptive design, involving 30 facilitators. Based on the results of the study, facilitators in Argoyuwono Village are generally in productive age with an average age of 43 years. In terms of gender, 83.3% of facilitators were male and 16.7% were female. The education level of facilitators was low, with 20% having an elementary school education, 50% having a junior high school education, and 30% having a senior high school education.
