Abstract
This study aims to analyze the empowerment of women through knitted peci crafts in Besuki Village, Udanawu District, Blitar Regency. The empowerment focuses on improving the economic welfare of women, particularly housewives, through training in peci production, time management, and digital marketing. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Interviews were conducted with three informants: two craftsmen and one knitted peci industry owner. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing with method triangulation to ensure data validity. The results show that this empowerment has provided additional income for housewives and preserved local skills. The tiered work model applied ensures product quality and enhances individual responsibility. However, challenges such as ineffective time management, attention to production details, resource limitations, and suboptimal marketing strategies are still encountered. To address these issues, time management and digital marketing training are improved, and knitted product diversification is carried out. The conclusion of this study is that the empowerment of women through knitted peci crafts in Besuki Village can improve the economic welfare and independence of craftsmen. It is recommended to expand partnerships with raw material suppliers and provide additional training to enhance product competitiveness.
